As we enter the third year of our apple liquor business, we submitted our apple-based products, “CRAZY DAYS” and “CRAZY CIDER,” to three prestigious competitions both in Japan and abroad. We are thrilled to report that they have received remarkable awards at each event.

Award Report ①: Bronze Medal at IWSC 2025, One of the World’s Top Three Spirits Competitions!

“CRAZY DAYS WHITE DREAM EDITION” was honored with a Bronze Medal in the Spirits Category at the 2025 International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC), one of the world’s top three liquor competitions.

Recognized as one of the top three global liquor competitions, IWSC judges wines, spirits, and whiskies from around the world. International judges conduct blind tastings to evaluate and select entries based on quality and taste.

We received outstanding praise for the delicate floral aromas leading into the fresh taste of ripe apples, balanced with honeyed sweetness, finishing with subtle notes of apricot and a smooth, warming texture.

Award Report ②: 1-Star Award at the 20th Superior Taste Awards by International Taste Institute (ITI)!
“CRAZY DAYS WHITE DREAM EDITION” earned an impressive 78.6% score at the 2025 Superior Taste Awards organized by the International Taste Institute (ITI), achieving a 1-star rating.

Established in 2005 and headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, the ITI is a world-renowned taste evaluation body. Around 200 Michelin-starred chefs and prestigious sommeliers conduct blind assessments of food and beverages based on five criteria: appearance, aroma, taste, texture, and aftertaste. Products surpassing the threshold receive the “Superior Taste Award.”

Our product was highly rated for its robust alcohol character combined with apple and citrus aromas, refreshing acidity, and well-balanced appearance, aroma, and finish.

Award Report ③: Triple Awards at Japan’s Only Cider Tasting Competition!
At the “Japan Cider Cup 2025,” Japan’s premier cider tasting competition, “CRAZY DAYS WHITE DREAM EDITION” and “CRAZY DAYS RED DREAM EDITION” won Silver Medals, while “CRAZY CIDER CASSIS” received a Bronze Medal.

Our apple liquor business, launched during the COVID-19 pandemic using Aomori-grown apples, has now entered its third year. Although we are still a young distillery, only in our second year of apple brandy production, we are honored to have received awards at both domestic and international competitions for the first time.
Our passionate journey, “CRAZY DAYS,” has only just begun. We will continue to combine bold “crazy” ideas with refined craftsmanship to deliver new and exciting experiences from Aomori apples to the world.
